I was invited to attend a low-carbon roadshow at Canterbury University, this was the lead-up to COP 26.
From listening to all of the initiatives, efforts, and stories from some very inspirational people, I too was inspired to develop a zero-carbon business.
From some market research, I identified an opportunity in the market which dovetailed into what I was looking to develop.
A zero-carbon cycle hire business.
We put our idea and proposal forward to ‘LoCase’, Low carbon South East, a government-funded organisation committed to reducing carbon output, and were awarded a grant towards our set up costs.
We provide cycle hire for leisure breaks, we deliver and collect to our customer’s sites of choice and we offer incentives if our customers use public transport to get to and from their leisure destinations.
We do this 100% zero-carbon.
